Cellostudium bei Prof. W. Tachezi an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Diplom 1981, anschließend Studium bei Prof. H. Schiff in Basel - Solistendiplom 1985.

1982-93 Cellist der Camerata Academica Salzburg. Seit 1993 Solocellist des Tiroler Symphonieorchesters Innsbruck.

Seit 1983 Lehrauftrag für Violoncello an der Universität Mozarteum.
